Between 18-20 May 2022, FleX-RAY was present at this year’s Black Sea Defence, Aerospace and Security International Exhibition (BSDA). Established in 2007, the biannual event is considered one of the most significant in the defence industry worldwide. This year, BSDA was held in Bucharest, Romania, hosted 400 companies from 33 countries and welcomed thousands of attendees. More specifically, the 2022 theme focused on land, sea and air defence as well as homeland security, cyber and space defence. During the 2-day exposition, visitors could observe a wide range of life-size equipment and systems as well as live demos. This way, the event created a platform for exploiting research results and forming future business collaborations. Our partner Optoelectronica participated and showcased innovations and research activities at their stand, including the Horizon 2020 FleX-RAY project. Their team had the opportunity to disseminate information about the project by discussing the FleX-RAY key technologies and sharing the project leaflet with the visitors. The Optoelectronica stand was also visited by the Romanian Minister of Defence and specialists from Romanian defence and security domains.
